By: Foote Communications As part of its program, the CAG is sponsoring an Academic Skills Camp between 8:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., July 11th at the DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown, 120 South Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. This event will provide a daylong program for middle school and high school students and their parents. The workshops will focus on improving the students’ English skills, doing ACT and SAT prep and preparing them for the college recruiting process. The day will conclude with students receiving a backpack full of goodies. “We want to make sure these kids are getting as much information as possible to be prepared to be successful students and athletes in college,” said Alex Moyer, one of the CAG founders and who played for the Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49’ers before pursuing a career in real estate development and finance. “We’re including the parents because they need to know the real deal when it comes to college sports – and life after.” Last month, CAG sponsored the free eSportsInstruction.com 7-on-7 Passing Skills Camp & Tournament at Rancho Cienega Sports Complex Stadium in Los Angeles for middle school and high school students.
