Southern Land Company Announces New 270-Unit High-Rise Residential Project Near Knox/Henderson

DALLAS - July 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Southern Land Company (http://www.southernland.com/), a Nashville-based multi-family developer, announced today its plans for its fifth project in the Dallas/Forth Worth area – a new luxury high-rise project on Oliver Street in the Knox neighborhood of Dallas. Construction on the 270-unit, 18-story development is set to begin in the first quarter of 2016. This property provides the ideal location with its proximity to offices, shops and restaurants in Downtown Dallas, Uptown, Highland Park and Preston Center. Designed by local architect Gromatzky Dupree &Associates (GDA), the community will feature unobstructed views of downtown Dallas. The property will have multiple outdoor amenity spaces including a 10,000-square-foot private open space that connects to McKinney Avenue. This Charleston-style courtyard will feature a dog park and outdoor seating area with grills and fireplace.  In addition, the property will provide luxury amenities including concierge and resident services; the fifth floor will feature a resort-style pool and private cabanas complete with TVs, fitness center and residents’ lounge. Due to its irreplaceable location, residents will also enjoy access to the Katy Trail and be within a five minute walk to more than 21 restaurants, 32 retails shops and a new Trader Joe’s grocery store.

Residential units range from 500 square feet to 3,000+ square feet, offering efficiencies, one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms and three-bedroom apartments providing a variety of price points and layouts for potential residents. Some penthouse units will offer private terraces unique to the market. Residents will have access to four levels of above ground parking and private garage options. Other in-unit amenities include high-end stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, quartz countertops, and 10-foot ceilings. Estimated lease-up is projected for the spring of 2018.
