Altep Digital Forensics Taps Andy Reid for Senior Consulting Manager of Forensics, West Coast & Cro

SAN FRANCISCO - July 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Formerly a Senior Computer Forensic and eDiscovery Specialist with the Ontario Securities Commission, Reid brings more than ten years’ experience to the Altep team.

As a Certified General Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant, Reid garnered significant experience in financial fraud and regulatory investigations. Working with the Ministries of Finance and Revenue, he performed numerous field audits to ensure compliance with Canada’s Retail Sales Tax Act and Community Small Business Investment Funds Act. Thereafter, Reid was responsible for investigations related to possible contraventions of the Retail Sales Tax Act and the Tobacco Tax Act, eventually assuming the role of Computer Forensic Examiner. In this role, he worked extensively on forensic examination and analysis of computers, mobile devices, and medial; preserving data for evidentiary purposes and courtroom testimony, and execution of search warrants for the Ministry of Revenue, Ministry of Natural Resources, Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, and other outside agencies as needed.
