Join Naperville Gives as a Sponsor or Nonprofit Partner on October 21, 2015

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - June 24, 2015 - PRLog -- (Naperville,IL – May 20, 2015)  Businesses and Nonprofits are encouraged to sponsor or join Naperville Gives Day, scheduled for October 21, 2015. Started as a collaborative effort between two Naperville charities, Naperville CARES and I Support Community, Naperville Gives is an innovative fundraising event that encourages individuals to donate as much money as possible in support of local charities in just 24 hours.

Naperville Gives garnered almost $4,000 in donations in the first year in support of over a dozen local nonprofits. The goal this year is to attract 1,000 donors and raise over $10,000 to support vital charitable services in our area.

Marion Ruthig, founder and executive director of I Support Community said, “We are excited to partner with other nonprofits across the area to see how much we can raise to serve our community.”

Beginning at midnight CST on October 21 and continuing until 11:59 p.m. CST, Naperville area residents will go online to NapervilleGives.org, connect with causes and make tax-deductible donations to support the important work of local charities. All online donations made on NapervilleGives.org during Naperville Gives day will go directly to support each charity’s mission.

We are thrilled to be a part of an event the showcases the collective power of philanthropy in the Naperville area, as well as highlight the import role nonprofits play in our community.”

Businesses can get involved by becoming a Naperville Gives sponsor. Based on the level of sponsorship and company involvement, the business will receive a logo displayed on the homepage of the Naperville Gives website and/or recognition on Naperville Gives social media and media promotion.

Nonprofits who want to register for Naperville Gives Day enroll through a simple online registration form and receive an individual merchant account for donations to be directly deposited into the nonprofit's bank account.
