The italian artist in Incoarts Vol. X for the Atelier Home Gallery

Alessandro Carnevale, Italian young talent among the most appreciated ones in Italy and at international level, will be present at the Atelier Home Gallery for the opening event to present 13 medium and big sized artworks from “Sullo scandalo metallico” series, realised on steel, iron and aluminum sheets.

The artist has developed a personal way to paint industrial archaeologies on the same materials of what he actually shows in his paintings,including the use of acids to control the metal oxidation. He is fascinated by weave of natural rust on the metals and he is able to integrate the oxide in his paintings in order to create an authentic portrait of the post industrial world.

Roberto del Frate, the curator of this exhibition, was really impressed by the poetry that comes out of these waste materials re-painted: “Well… seeing these materials reworked and re-germinate as a rotten fruit that still contains within it the seed of creation, it made happy my soul beyond the view. Seeing a new life in those wrecks, in those wastes, in those technological bones where we only see the damage and we feel ashamed, gave me instead confidence and hope for the future”.

The artworks, part of the “Scandalo Metallico” series, have been showcased in Rome, Genoa, Berlin, New York, Hong Kong, Helsinki and included in the 10^th volume of the best international artists issued by the “International Contemporary Artist" magazine of New York. Another important recognition at national level, for the artist is his presence as finalist at Cascella Prize for the 2015 edition.

ALESSANDRO CARNEVALE: (Savona, Italy 1990) is a painter, writer and musician. He graduated with honors at the art school A. Martini and also studied the Academy of Fine Arts where he attended the courses of sculpture and graphic art. He is also the co-founder of jazz group ThoseThreeWords. From 2012 he is also drum teacher at Nicolini music school of Savona, Italy. He also published, thanks to Aletti editor, the “Aurore Vernice” romance. His poetry “Esausti Miei Paesaggi” won the “Luoghi di Parole” competition organised by the aletti editor.

ATELIER HOME GALLERY: is an art space that organises exhibitions and happenings at the historical home-studio of two artists (Roberto del Frate & Roberta de Jorio) located in the Panfili Palace of Trieste (Italy). We offer to emerging artists, art enthusiasts and the viewing public our Home Gallery that is open for collaborations and creations. Our mission is to promote art in a non-traditional form of presentation using an unconventional space that is more convivial and intimate.
