PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - June 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Niagra Bottling issued a voluntary recall for several brands of bottled water produced at the companies two spring water bottling facilities citing possible E. coli contamination.  The company has stated that the recall affects Niagra bottled spring water that was produced between June 10th through June 18th and have since shut the lines down for cleaning and decontamination of the bottling equipment.

Attorney Brian Sutter shared this comment on the spring water recall,”While it's commendable that Niagra has taken steps to alert the public and get out in front of the issue before anyone has gotten sick the failure of the operator of the spring to report that E. coli was detected in the water is worrisome. One can only hope that Niagra Bottling discovered the threat before consumers were exposed to potentially contaminated spring water. We trust bottlers that spring water is a cleaner,more pure choice to tap water and high standards must be maintained to continue that trust.”
