Google to empower media with News lab

MOHALI, India - June 23, 2015 - PRLog -- In order to draw innovation in the industry Google has empowered News lab which helps journalists and Entrepreneurs to tap into technology  firmly. The aim behind this is to provide technical support to journalists about the ways news should be created and presented. Google has been planning to create News lab since many years before and finally achieve the goal.

Now a common question comes in the mind of people that how News lab will help Journalists and entrepreneurs?

To achieve this goal , Google has made tutorials around reporting tools specifically for news rooms including maps, search, earth and you tube etc. Journalists now can learn how to use google products for reporting purposes. This way they can transform  their way of presenting a tech. news.

According to Google, News Labs will mainly focus on media startups and citizen reporting. In order to provide assistance to media startups Google has created  Google trends last week which provides curated content based upon Google trends and headlines. They partner with newsrooms on specific data experiments.

Citizen reporting:  With the help of news writing and sharing platforms News Labs encourage user generated news content that are first drafted & WITNESS by media lab .

This News Lab of Google is not the first tech sector into the media industry. As we all know that technology companies nowadays are making a big push in the news world. Recently Facebook has partnered with nine publishers to offer iphone users instant articles.

Google is going to start the News Lab initiative in the U.S., U.K., France and Germany. The program will eventually be rolled out to other countries, though it is unclear when that will .
