Charitable Activities for June 2015

The Borrow-Longain Foundation is proud to announce the following charitable activities that we were involved in during June 2015.
 
June 22, 2015 - PRLog -- The Borrow-Longain Foundation is proud to announce that our Chairman, Paul Borrow-Longain, took part in the following charitable activities and associated activities during the month of June 2015.

Wednesday 3rd June - meeting with fundraising representative of the Birmingham Hospital Radio.

Thursday 4th June - meeting with the Commanding Officer of 2443 Sqn ATC to learn more about how we can assist the squadron.

Thursday 4th June - regular monthly meeting of the Okehampton & District Lions Club.

Sunday 7th June - collected donation cans on behalf of a South West England charity which we placed the previous month.

Friday 12th June - attended meeting in London on behalf of the Joint Civil Aid Corps in capacity of Trustee of the charity.

Saturday 13th June - attended H.M. The Queens birthday celebrations on HorseGuards Parade, London.

Monday 15th June - attended meeting to provide pro Bono business consultancy to a start up business in North Wales (conference call).

Tuesday 16th June - chaired conference call with a South West England charity support organisation to learn more about their support to a range of charities within the South West of England.

Tuesday 16th June - chaired conference call with potential ambassador for the Joint Civil Aid Corps.

Thursday 18th June - attended the regular monthly meeting of the Okehampton & District Lions Club.

Friday 19th - Sunday 21st June - attended a three day meeting of the Joint Civil Aid Corps in the capacity of Trustee and Regional Officer including trustee meeting, senior officer meeting and cadet graduation and promotion ceremony.

Sunday 28th June - attending the Okehampton Civic Parade with Lions Club to assist in logistics.

The Foundation believes in giving back to the community and our chairman and committee members do all they can to help either directly or via the community groups which they are members of.
