Meet the Cast of Six Joan Crawfords: LaDios Muhammad as Leeza Spain

DENVER - June 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Six Joan Crawfords by Mike Broemmel is the tale of a half dozen has-been divas who star in a faltering stage play, Miss Tangerine’s Diary, as it tours from Toledo to Topeka to Tupelo. Enormous egos and lack of introspection abound, resulting in comedic turns from one scene to the next. The comedy unfolds backstage, over the course of a trio of acts set in three separate cities.

A character study, Six Joan Crawfords features six women who view themselves as larger than life despite life largely leaving them behind. Six Joan Crawfords is an original play, premiering with this production. It is also the inaugural production to be staged at the West End Theatre and Arts Center in Lakewood at the 40 West Arts District.

LaDios Muhammad has has always been a fan of the arts since she was a child. When she made her first debut in a Peanuts play she knew she was born to act. With a desire to go to UCLA and major in theater, LaDios navigated to Denver, CO for a temporary stop. Of course, 23 years later she has continued to reside in the great Mile High City....

Upon living in Denver her acting career has included theater, corporate videos, Internet commercials, featured ad in Target, short films and a full feature. She has been nominated by the Denver Ovation Awards for “Best Supporting Actor in a Drama” for her role in a dramatic play The Container. She has recently performed in The Baptism, Goddess People and this is her first comedic performance, Six Joan Crawfords. She looks forward to more great opportunities in independent and featured films as she continues in enhancing her craft.
