Follow on Google News | Circle-J Inc Announces Donation of Dumpsters for Raise The Roof ProjectBy: Circle J Roll-Offs Inc. Over the past few years, Circle-J has donated dumpsters for use during Raise The Roof. “Dumpsters are an absolute necessity when removing old shingles and rotten wood,” said Jan Bailey, Co-Director, Raise the Roof Project. “Circle-J has donated the use of dumpsters at no charge, which helps Raise The Roof use funds to purchase other building supplies.” Each year Raise the Roof Project co-sponsors, Dauphin Way United Methodist Church and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, house partners and parishioners during a two-week summer “camp”. During the day, the camp members along with local professionals work on roofs in the area. During their evenings, volunteers spend time in worship and fellowship. Raise the Roof Project is a complete volunteer organization. Local contractors, roofing professionals, and suppliers like Circle-J, donate their time, expertise, and materials to guide the volunteers and help complete the roofing projects. Church members from both congregations help provide food for the workers.
