L. Ron Hubbard Theatre performance of “Fifty-Fifty O’Brien”

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - June 12, 2015 - PRLog -- The L. Ron Hubbard Theatre located in Hollywood, one block west of the Dolby Theatre, features the performance of “Fifty-Fifty O’Brien” on Saturday, June 13 and 20.

“Fifty-Fifty O’Brien” is the story about Winchester Remington Smith, a sharp-shooter who is tired of knocking down ducks in a carnival shooting gallery. Feeling his talent is going to waste, he decides the way to get some real action is to join the U.S. Marines, fighting a guerrilla insurgency south of the border.

Once in the brooding, festering jungles of Central America, he is assigned the post of company runner—a frustrating assignment where he feels his shooting skills are, once again, not being put to good use.

Even when he saves the life of First Sergeant Fifty-Fifty O'Brien—a Marine so fearless he has about a fifty-fifty chance of survival—Smith, rather than getting rewarded, winds up facing a disciplinary hearing for disobeying orders.

In order to redeem himself, Smith will have to deliver a message that the Marines will never forget.

The L. Ron Hubbard Theatre has been open since 2008 and showcases the fiction works of L. Ron Hubbard in a modern-day environment with Hollywood actors where the entire family can experience a live show radio-theatre style and mingle with the actors afterwards.

Performances range from adventure, science fiction and fantasy, to mystery and western and begin with a 30 minute live musical pre-show. All shows are appropriate for all ages.
