KANSAS CITY, Mo.

-- In April 2015, after two years of attempting to establish himself as an authority in the Kansas City real estate market, Luther Wilson makes a move to Chartwell Realty. Following some careful evaluation and a few telephone interviews, he found that there was a consensus amongst local realtors: this organization has an excellent reputation and they truly care about the success of their agents and clients. The very first words out the the managing broker's mouth during the interview was, "How can we help you grow your business?" Taken back a little bit, Luther had to pause and gather his thoughts... "That's a great question," he replied. From that point on Luther knew that he had found his home as a real estate sales professional.
Growing up as the son of a real estate investor and a realtor, Luther appreciates the fact that a significant number of agents at Chartwell have numerous investor-clients. Not only that, a large number of the folks at the company invest in property themselves. "Making the move was a no-brainer,"
Luther explains. Since the age of five, he has watched his mother and father buy and resale a plethora of single-family homes in Kansas City and the surrounding areas. "The transition has been quite a challenge but I know it will pay off real soon," he states. "I have a ton of respect for the people here... I'm looking forward to learning a lot and doing some big things."
Keep an eye out for Chartwell Realty and Luther Wilson III as the real estate market shifts, the investor climate gets more competitive, and millennial first time home buyers become more prolific.
