His community service also includes serving as Past President of the Board of Directors for Peel Children’s Aid and as a member of the Peel District Health Council. A committed leader and volunteer, Mr. Pagani is passionate about the Mississauga Halton CCAC’s role in the Ontario health care system. “The Mississauga Halton CCAC is the only organization in the region to coordinate such a large range of health and social services that people need to remain safe at home for as long as possible.” Mr. Pagani says that he is delighted to serve as Mississauga Halton CCAC’s Board Chair for a second term. “The Mississauga Halton CCAC supported more than 46,600 residents in our region – an increase of seven per cent over the past year – that is one in 26 residents. We know that there will continue to be more growth, change and challenge to the health system; however, the one constant will be our unwavering dedication to patients and families in the region.” The Mississauga Halton CCAC coordinates in-home and community support services, information and referral, and long-term care placement. It is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care through the Mississauga Halton Local Health Integration Network and serves a population of more than one-million residents in the communities of South Etobicoke, Mississauga, Oakville, Halton Hills, Georgetown and Milton. - 30 - Media Contact Bobbi Greenberg, Manager, Media & Public Relations roberta.greenberg@ 9058559090 x7909 End
