Ayla Hotel’s Basketball team – Champions of Al Ain

June 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Al Ain, UAE – Ayla Hotels’ Basketball team scored Champion’s title in inter-hotels Basketball tournament held on 8^th and 9^th of June 2015, in Al Ain.

Big night for Ayla Hotels’ Basketball Team as they capped their flawless court performance with an overtime heartbreak win over Rotana Hotel, Al Ain’s fighting five. Ayla’s netters were a dark horse coming into the Basketball Tourney which was participated in by four other Al Ain based hotel properties namely; Al Ain Rotana, Hili Rayhaan by Rotana, Hilton Hotel & Mercure Hotel.

The road to the victory for Ayla’s team was not easy: after beating strong teams from Hilton Hotel and Mercure Hotel, nerve-wracking final match was between Rotana Al Ain and Ayla Hotels teams.

Only in extended minutes of the game, boys from Ayla showed their grit, techniques and stamina and brought the Champions title to Ayla Hotels.

Group General Manager of Ayla Hotels and Resorts, Mr. Mohamed Soussan expressed his praise to the Basketball team: “We are truly proud of the teamwork and determination shown by our Basketball team players. They played with their hearts and true passion for the game, which paid off in the finals. The title was well deserved and we are honored to have such talented sports men in our team.”
