2nd Annual City of Angels Celebrity Red Capret Experience 2015 to honor Yo-Yo for 25 Years of HipHop

Hollywood - The 2^nd annual City of Angels Celebrity Red Carpet Experience 2015 with DP Productions, Rouse House Entertainment, Busby Promotions, KimiRhochelle PR & Entertainment Firm, D-Spot, Z’da Productions, Distinct Diamond and Ref & Gator Entertainment presents The Legendary Yo-Yo celebrating 25 years in hip-hop at OHM Nightclub June 26 at 7pm.  The City of Angels wants to make sure that everyone has the time of their life in LA during the B.E.T. weekend by hosting the Ultimate Red Carpet event with an impressive list of celebrities and industry greats in attendance.

    Yo-Yo first appeared as a guest on Ice Cube’s AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted album in 1990, on the “It’s a Man’s World” track.  Yo-Yo is a Grammy nominated rapper and actress from Compton who is best known for her 1991 hit “You Can’t Play With My Yo-Yo”, from her debut album “Make Way for the Motherlode.”

    As an Ice Cube protégé, Yo-Yo brought feminine fever to the hip hop scene in a way that balanced the strength of a woman with the hard edge of a gangsta rapper.  It was at that time that Yo-Yo birth an organization named I.B.W.C. which was more like a movement with the intention solely on uprising and uplifting women.

    Yo-Yo began a successful acting career in film and TV, appearing in Boyz n tha Hood, Menace II Society and Martin.  In 2008 Yo-Yo gave a highly-anticipated performance of “You Can’t Play With My Yo-Yo” at the BET Hip Hop Awards also sharing the stage with legendary rappers MC Lyte, The Lady of Rage and Salt-N-Pepa.

    Admission for the 2^nd Annual City of Angels Celebrity Red Carpet Experience 2015 is $20 for general admission and $40 for VIP, advanced tickets are available.  Big Bad DJ Sidney Thompson will be spinning all night long with guest DJ set by legendary DJ Twinn.  This event will be catered with delicious mouth watering food by Lois Threats Catering and complimentary hors d’oeuvres for VIP’s will be served from 8pm to 10pm.  For table and bottle service text or call (213) 926-2809.
