Carpal Rx Massager Results to be Presented at Berlin Medical Conference
The Congress of the European Academy of Neurology announced the invitation of Dr. Michael Politis to present his findings on the successful long-term treatment of patients with carpal tunnel syndrome using the Carpal Rx therapeutic massager.
Of his research, Dr. Politis said, "Our results are highly significant to patients with carpal tunnel syndrome and hand pain. It would be a disservice to sufferers around the world to not present these findings immediately at this important international conference of doctors."
Dr. Politis's findings are a continuation of his research on the Carpal Rx in relieving the suffering of patients with carpal tunnel syndrome. This is a painful and often crippling condition affecting millions of people around the world. Those who suffer from (and are most at risk of getting) carpal tunnel syndrome are assembly line workers, meat packers, carpenters, secretaries, dental hygienists, cashiers and vibratory tool users. The incidence of carpal tunnel syndrome is so high, it is now one of the most common, and lucrative, surgeries performed in the United States. Yet, its effectiveness and ethical use has been called into question.
“Ironically, this popular surgery is not very successful”, Dr. Politis commented. “It is certainly the same problem we had with rampant mastectomies and hysterectomies years ago, where doctors cut before thinking.”
Dr. Politis emphasized a fact that most physical therapists have known quite well for years. “The non-surgical technique called deep tissue massage that includes myofascial release will, nearly 100% of the time, totally eliminate carpal tunnel symptoms. But it must be performed every day for a month to be permanently effective.”
This is where Dr. Politis’s research comes into play. The device he used, called the Carpal Rx and manufactured by Carpal Pain Solution, Inc. (Palm City, FL, USA) is essentially a myofascial release massager. It performs this specialized therapy automatically and at home, so you don’t have to go to a therapist every day for 30 days to have it done.
Dr. Politis said, “Our findings show that the Carpal Rx gives patients this important treatment daily without having to visit a professional physiotherapist. It’s really a breakthrough in the medical management of carpal tunnel syndrome.” He added, “The data in our presentation will show that Carpal Rx results are long-lasting. It’s not just a one-shot pain relief method, but a valuable management tool for carpal tunnel syndrome that should be used by everyone with this condition.”
