Kayak Bass League Mazonia Tournament Results

AURORA, Ill. - June 9, 2015 - PRLog -- The first official Kayak Bass League tournament at Mazonia State Fish and Wildlife Area is in the books.

Participating anglers can choose to fish in any of the following Mazonia lakes: Bass Lake, Goose Lake, Bullhead Lake, Carp/Gar Lake, Monster Lake, Pondo Lake and Eagle Lake.

Congratulations to Riley True, Chunsum Choi and Atif Goodman for placing in today’s tournament.

Riley was all smiles as he took home first place and big bass prize. Also for taking first place Riley will receive a gift card from Rocktown Adventures, a custom swimbait from ‪Wooden Swimbaits‬, and will be heading to the KBF National championship on Kentucky Lake in 2016. He also took home the coveted golden bass trophy for his win.

The Kayak Bass League (KBL) is Illinois’ premier all kayak bass tournament series! Kayak fishing is a rapidly growing sport here in the Midwest, and the KBL has been working diligently to provide a competitive outlet for the kayak angling community.

The KBL is also affiliated with KBF National Championship. This means that 1st place anglers from the (3) events of our 2015 Open Series(Mazonia, Evergreen and Busse) will automatically qualify for the 2016 KBF National Championship at Kentucky Lake out of Paris Landing on March 25th.
