McGladrey Names Tony Wood National Leader, Private Client Services

CHICAGO - June 9, 2015 - PRLog -- McGladrey LLP – the nation’s leading provider of assurance, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – has promoted Tony Wood to national service line leader of the firm’s Private Client Services (PCS) team.

In his new role, Wood will be responsible for developing strategy, integrating with regional tax leaders and other PCS partners; enhancing tools, processes and training; continuing integration of PCS and Wealth Management service lines; and clarifying PCS’s role in serving high net-worth clients. Wood will continue to be based out of McGladrey’s Atlanta office.

Wood has more than 25 years of senior leadership and practice development success in the financial and accounting professions. Prior to joining McGladrey, he guided many of the top U.S. accounting firms, financial services firms, private banks and law firms in reengineering business models, creating national platforms, enriching business development and marketing techniques, and devising new distribution channels to serve clients. He holds a B.S. in social science and finance from Tulane University.
