BIRMINGHAM, U.K. - June 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Fundraising guests at Simla Restaurant Dordon enjoyed an evening of feast and magic as they helped raise £2,200 for St Giles Hospice

A night of feast, comedy, music and fundraising helped raise £2,200 for St Giles Hospice at award winning Indian restaurant Simla, Dordon.

Simla restaurant dedicated an entire evening to fund raising for St Giles Hospice by creating a ticket only event.

Guests were entertained by award winning close-up magician Craig Petty (Slightly Unusual) whilst being served a special 3 course banquet style menu with live music by Alison Diamond.

A raffle with 4 prizes and a mini auction raised over £800 the evening was hosted by public speaker Samuel Leeds.

Manager Mohammed Manu said the “evening was planned as one of our typical corporate events and went better than expected, everyone had a fantastic evening.  The restaurant almost fully booked, the event would not have been so successful without the kind donations made by local businesses and all those that bought tickets.  A massive thank you to everyone”
