Telliant Systems Helps Kids with Cancer at Camp Sunshine

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - June 8, 2015 - PRLog -- Telliant Systems, a global leader in providing cutting edge application services and managed services, is celebrating its fifth anniversary by giving back to the community.

Telliant Systems hosted an ice-cream & popcorn social on May 28^th and May 29^th at their office to collect much needed items on Camp Sunshine’s “wish list” to benefit their summer and weekend programs.  Camp Sunshine House was built in 2003 and is a place for families with cancer to come together for year-round support, information and fun.  The all-year program offers an infusion of love, support, fun, acceptance and hope for children with cancer.  The children and families who attend Camp Shine’s programs realize they are not alone in their struggle.  Camp Sunshine’s summer camps and year-long weekend camps take place at Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, GA.

Telliant Systems’ founders chose Camp Sunshine because of the impact cancer had on their family: their son’s best friend and neighbor spent some of her weekends at Camp Sunshine while battling cancer.  She lost her battle to cancer on November 17, 2006, devastating her family, their son and the neighborhood. Her courage and determination continues to be an inspiration to all. She made a profound impact on the lives of others.
