An evil housekeeper who looks after Abigail does everything she can to get rid of Abigail’s problem. In a desperate last attempt, the housekeeper gives the little girl away to the Julius Romeros Extravaganza, a circus for freaks. In the second part of the trilogy, "A New Adventure”, Abigail is all grown up and enjoying her life apart of the circus. Her talented new family of freaks meet a mysterious professor who sets their lives on a course of adventure and danger. In the upcoming final instalment of the trilogy, Part 3: Return to Greener Pastures, Abigail and her family have come to the end of their journey. Old and forgotten friends are met once again and their adventure becomes more dangerous. Hayley-Lawson Smith writes a story of love and acceptance, revelling in a world of the weird and absurd.
