KINGSPORT, Tenn. - June 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Six Oaks Ministries is pleased to announce that Lt. Col. (Ret.) Michael Prinzi, Jr. will be the guest speaker for the Strength for the Journey event at the Renaissance Arts Center and Theatre in Kingsport, Tennessee on Saturday, June 27th 6-9:00 PM. This event's message will be based on Matthew 7:24-27 and the parable of Jesus asking the question "Does your house stand on rock or sand?" Donations will be accepted and t-shirts are $20 with proceeds to benefit home construction in Carrefour, Haiti. Col. (Ret.) Michael Prinzi, Jr. enlisted in the Florida Air National Guard in October 1982. Following his college graduation, he received his commission and began his military flying career retiring in July 2013 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His 28-year military career includes six combat tours in Iraq where he accumulated over 680 flight hours under combat conditions and was awarded the Bronze Star and six Air Medals.  He was also awarded the Humanitarian Service Medal for his service in Haiti during the 2010 earthquake relief efforts.  He served four years as a Special Agent with the United States Secret Service holding a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. Lt. Col. (Ret.) Michael Prinzi, Jr. is an ordained deacon and actively participates in the children’s ministry at University Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL. Now he will bring his message of hope, clarity, and prosperity to Strength for the Journey in Kingsport, TN on June 27, 2015.
