Local High School Illustrator and Texas Author Sign At Valley View Barnes & Noble

ROANOKE, Va. - June 4, 2015 - PRLog -- David C. Hughes teams up with his niece, Emilie L. Huges, a local student for a book signing, June 7th. 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 4802 Valley View Blvd, NW.

Emilie attends William Byrd High School. She's hoarded art supplies since she was a little girl. Every chance she gets, she draws and paints. She plans to study art in college to become a graphic designer. Melted Clowns is her first illustrated book.

Author David C. Hughes loves to write. He's had lots of practice making up stories, many featuring Hannah, his daughter, as the main character. Author of the inspirational book, The Epiphany of Joy, he left his corporate job in 2013 to pursue his love of storytelling. Melted Clowns is his debut illustrated children's book.
