Avwatch LLC attains ISO 9001 certification; company prepares to bring products to market

PLYMOUTH, Mass. - June 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Avwatch (www.avwatch.us), a Plymouth, MA business delivering aerial reconnaissance, real time motion video and tactical networking services to government and commercial clients, has recently completed all the requirements to attain ISO 9001-2008 certification via the International Standards Organization.

ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an independent, non-governmental membership organization, and the world’s largest developer of voluntary International Standards. The organization is comprised of 178 member countries who are the national standards bodies around the world. ISO has published nearly 20,000 International Standards covering almost every industry. Nearly one million businesses worldwide have completed ISO certification requirements.

ISO standards provide world-class specifications for products, services and systems, to ensure quality, safety and efficiency. They are viewed as instrumental in facilitating international trade.

Ryan Kowalske, Senior Technical Officer of Avwatch, said that the designation certifies Avwatch’s quality management system to guide and govern products with regards to production. He noted that the company is in the process of developing and bringing a number of unique products to market, including a Mini Tracking Antenna System.
