By: Mr. CER Tech To use The Airhook, travelers simply attach the device’s anchor over the top of the tray table, then place a beverage in the opening, and use The Airhook’s device holding rib and adjustable bungee to fasten any phone or tablet up to 7.5 inches tall. A few weeks later on another flight, Rabin ordered coffee and realized he’d have nowhere to put his cup if using his tray table for a hook. This sparked Rabin to create a two-in-one solution that incorporated a beverage holder with an device holder that features an adjustable cord, so it could hold a larger range of mobile phones and tablets. Mr. CER Tech is using Kickstarter to help fund the cost of tooling and a short initial manufacturing run to fulfill orders. Early-bird orders for The Airhook will be approximately $15, with costs expected to rise to $21 once those run out, and an MSRP of $30 once the product is available in stores.
