Follow on Google News | Heidrea for Heroes Launches Essay Contest for Action TrackChair for a VeteranThe all-terrain wheelchair is ideal for the veteran who enjoys outdoor activities.
By: Heidrea for Heroes The Action TrackChair is an all-terrain wheelchair, ideal for the veteran who likes to get to places which might otherwise be difficult to access – such as for hunting, fishing, going out to the beach, or just enjoying time in the forest. The aim of the essay contest is to find a disabled, wheelchair-dependent veteran living on the South Shore, South Coast, or Cape, or in the Metrowest area who is an outdoor recreation enthusiast and can benefit tremendously from an Action TrackChair (an all-terrain wheelchair). A veteran can write the essay him/herself, or can be nominated by a friend or family member. The essay should be limited to 200 words and should include: a description of the outdoor activities the veteran enjoys and how being able to access those activities would be life-enhancing; To be considered, all submissions must be received by June 22. Submissions can be emailed to info@heidrea4heroes.org, faxed to 774-773-3955, or mailed to Heidrea for Heroes, Inc., 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 300, Plymouth, MA 02360. The winner will be notified by the end of June. For additional information or any questions, please contact the organization at 774-773-3951 or at info@heidrea4heroes.org.
