Grammy-Nominated, Hip-Hop Group, Shop Boyz Chooses APM Public Relations For PR Representation

The Shop Boyz (Demetrius “Meany” Hardin, Richard “Fat” Stephens and Rasheed “Sheed” Hightower), multi-talented artists from Atlanta's westside, Bankhead area, are known for their breakout single, "Party Like A Rock Star” and are making a comeback with new music, videos and an upcoming tour.  Earlier in their career, they landed the spot for #1 selling ringtone around the world bringing in over $3 million and their single peaking at #2 on Billboard’s Top 200 Charts, “Party Like A Rock Star” turned The Shop Boyz into superstars practically overnight. Their video was in heavy rotation on MTV and BET and The Shop Boyz were bestowed the following nominations: Grammy Award (Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group), American Music Award (Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Band/Duo/Group), MTV Video Music Awards (Monster Single Of the Year), People’s Choice Awards USA (Favorite Hip-Hop Song), Teen Choice Awards (Choice Summer Song) and BET Hip-Hop Award (Track Of the Year).

The Atlanta-based artists have gone in unchartered territories and experimented with several genres of music to include their new EP, "Shop Boyz Reloaded", with singles from Rock, Country, Pop, and Electronic Dance.  Earlier this year, the Shop Boyz released their Mix Tape,"Gift and a Curse" and an EP, "Shop Boyz Reloaded".
