DOVER, N.H. - June 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Today, Indri launched a website app called Mobile Potential (http://mobile-potential.indri.co/). The app uses a website's Google Analytics account to calculate the sales they are missing without a mobile-friendly experience for their customers. By using a website's actual data, the tool accurately calculates potential sales that are missed because of a less-than-perfect mobile experience.

Mobile users now account for 60 percent of all online traffic, according to comScore. Google's recent algorithm update -- dubbed "Mobilegeddon" -- focused ecommerce retailers' attention on the mobile experience. By threatening to take away all of a website's mobile traffic, Google used its muscle to get website owners to focus on this neglected aspect of user experience.

Desktop versions of websites are typically difficult to view and use on a mobile device, requiring users to pinch or zoom in order to read the content. Users find this experience frustrating, and are very likely to abandon these websites. Alternatively, mobile-friendly websites are readable and immediately usable.
