MadValorem Introduces Real Estate Agent Profiles

June 1, 2015 - PRLog -- MadValorem, an online real estate information and search portal, announces the launch of a new feature geared toward helping homebuyers find local agents and assess their market expertise.  Unique to profiles on MadValorem, prospective homebuyers have the ability to view an agent’s performance over time, as well as see the performance of their brokerage as a whole.

The profiles were designed with the customer in mind, offering a variety of useful graphs and statistics.  ‘Production by City’ offers a breakdown of an agent’s activity across the county, and customers can see at a glance which communities an agent knows best.  The profiles also include some simple to understand statistics, such as an agent’s total number of closings and total production in dollar amount.

Another useful metric on display is the relationship between list price and closing price.  For example, when an agent acts as the listing agent, they want to sell homes as close to the list price as possible. Alternatively, when acting as the buyer’s agent, a smaller average percentage of list price is ideal, as this indicates that an agent was able to negotiate a better price for their client.

The agent profiles were activated last week, and the response from agents has been overwhelmingly positive.  One feature that has fueled the positive feedback is the top producer badges.  Agents are awarded badges based on their performance at the county, city, and zip code level.  Not only does this feature offer customers a quick way to find the best agent in their city or neighborhood, but it also gives appropriate credit to agents that deserve it.

Todd Albert, the Chief Technology Officer with MadValorem, believes that although some of the leading real estate websites are offering agent profiles, there is still an opportunity to provide more in-depth information that focuses on localized coverage.  “The agent profiles are an exceptional resource to identify and compare the effectiveness of local agents in a given market” said Albert.

Agent profiles went live last week for Palm Beach County, and MadValorem has plans to continue bringing online agent profiles for the rest of South Florida in the coming weeks and months.
