Local Life Coach Opens the Playing Field for Other Life Coaches

EL PASO, Texas - June 1, 2015 - PRLog -- One local life coach has branched-out, and is now teaching and mentoring new life coaches.

Life Coaching is a growing and popular trend in the U.S., where basically healthy people seek guidance and accountability from their individual coaches in everything from dealing with stress to climbing the corporate ladder. It is a concept that originally bloomed in Fortune 500 Companies and other segments of Corporate America - professionals coaching professionals to be the best in their chosen field.

Professional coaching has the appeal of not branding a person with a clinical, psychological diagnosis when what they really need is just a concentrated point of focus or a little help and encouragement in recognizing their own strengths and abilities. Life coaching is not therapy, and it is not intended to be a form of therapy. Coaches primarily act as goal setting and accountability partners, steering clients in the right direction so that they are better equipped to achieve their greatest hopes and dreams. The idea of life coaching appeals to many people who might never consider therapy as an option - especially men and athletes, who recognize the benefits of personalized coaching through past sports involvement.

Kay Sanders, a ICF certified personal development coach, sales coach, author and owner of Kay Sanders Coaching in El Paso, Texas, has made her mark in the burgeoning life coaching field. After spending thousands of dollars on professional training to become a certified life coach, and helping leaders in the life coaching movement co-author their publications, she decided that it was time to open this field to other potential life coaches who may not have the resources or opportunities that she did.

“I went through extensive coaching training to become an ICF certified coach. The ICF or International Coaching Federation is the main regulatory body of the coaching industry. I spent many hours studying and practicing, and I spent a substantial amount of money on training and educational materials to learn how to be a great coach,” said Sanders.

Believing that the process to becoming a great coach could be streamlined for others desiring to make a profound, positive impact on the lives of their clients, Sanders chose to author her own training and coaching manual.

“I wanted an A to Z resource when I entered the field but I didn’t have one. I had so many initial questions that none of the available training materials answered. Three years later, I ended up writing the book that I had been looking for, to answer all of those unanswered questions about how to coach someone, and to how to build a profitable coaching business,” said Sanders.

Sanders’ A to Z guide to life coaching, “The Coaching Business Blueprint: Everything you need to start, run, and build a professional coaching business,” published in March 2015, is already a bestseller in its sales category on Amazon.com.

In her coaching practice, Sanders specializes in working with veterans suffering from PSTD, and those needing stress management skills, but she also provides professional management and sales coaching as well as mentor coaching to those wanting to become coaches or starting out as coaches, helping them build a profitable coaching business. Her professional sales coaching practice focuses primarily on entrepreneurs, network marketers, and other coaches, to aid them in increasing their sales results. As a personal development coach, Sanders also utilizes in her practice the Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT, a popular psychological acupressure therapy, used to optimize emotional health, and in turn physical health, without the use of mind-altering drugs or chemicals.
