Q LTD Supports Louis Armstrong Jazz Camp With Advertising Campaign

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - June 1, 2015 - PRLog -- Brand design firm Q LTD recently launched a new ad series for the Louis “Satchmo” Armstrong Summer Jazz Camp, a non-profit organization that provides young people across the country an opportunity to participate in a preeminent music camp in New Orleans every summer.

The design team at Q’s Ann Arbor office developed a series of ads to run in Downbeat and JazzTimes, and designed a logo to help the organization mark its twentieth anniversary. The ads feature references to Louis Armstrong Jazz Camp alumni and instructors such as Kevin Eubanks, Rufus Reid, Jonathan Batiste, George Duke, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews, and Clark Terry, to name a few.

Working with the Louis Armstrong Jazz Camp’s Executive Director and Producer, Jackie Harris, Q LTD has been helping to provide the organization with design and marketing communications support for several years.

“The Q design team, along with Q founder Tom Rieke, has been a design resource to the Louis Armstrong Jazz Camp since we became acquainted through other jazz festival organizations. We’re pleased that they share our passion for supporting the legacy of jazz music for America’s future generations,” said Harris.

The jazz camp is presented by the New Orleans Arts and Cultural Host Committee and sponsored by the Louis Armstrong Educational Foundation, Inc. (New York), and has a strategic partnership with Loyola University New Orleans College of Music and Fine Arts and the University of New Orleans Jazz Studies Department.
