On a weekly basis, the 3RFA CSA will deliver a variety of fresh, high-quality, produce from the three farms to the hospital employees at a discounted cost. Each week, the selection of produce will reflect what is thriving on the farms. Along with the fresh food, the WDH CSA coordinator, with the help of the farmers, will be providing cooking tips and healthy recipes to go along with the week's bounty. CSA members will also have the opportunity to visit each farm during the season and get to know the people responsible for growing their food. "We are excited to work with Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. The members of the 3RFA CSA get the best of all three farms - a unique structure to a CSA." Josh Jennings, farmer at Meadows Mirth and co-owner of Three River Farmers Alliance, has been organizing CSAs for many years. "We love the involvement and support of the community. We want to get people excited about our food, as well as emphasize the importance of a sustainable food system."
