Singer Steven Ybarra Headlines SD Magazine ‘Best Restaurant Kick-Off’ Event

SAN DIEGO - May 31, 2015 - PRLog -- SAN DIEGO, CA –San Diego Magazine’s Best Restaurant Kick-Off is a culinary celebration of their annual Best Restaurant issue. This year’s event will be June 10th, 6:30-8:30 pm at Pirch UTC in La Jolla, CA.  San Diego’s cream-of-the-crop chefs will prepare their signature dishes, and the guests get to vote for their favorite drink in the ‘Cocktail Shakeoff.’ Product demos and prizes will be offered, so this is one event not to miss.

The great event will be infused with the pop/modern country songs by noted San Diego singer-songwriter Steven Ybarra, who will perform live for the culinary event. ‘I am looking forward to performing for this event to honor all these great San Diego restaurants,’ said Ybarra.

Ybarra’s career is sky-rocketing, with his just-released 3rd solo CD, What I Really Want to Say, landing in the top 100 iTunes country charts on release day last month. Track #8 on the CD, ‘Sum of Two Hearts’  took the coveted first-place award in the country category of the Durango Songwriters Expo.
