Another Wrestler Suspended By AML Wrestling
Following the controversial ending to the 4-way Championship match at LIVE TO WIN on May 28, AML Wrestling has announced the suspension of one of their own.
"We spent the past week reviewing the footage from the 4-way match on May 24 between Caprice Coleman, Vordell Walker, King Shane Williams and Zane Dawson. It was apparent to us that George South Jr’s interference in the match kept Dawson from being able to win the match. Since it was a championship match, we felt that it was necessary to suspend George South Jr. for 45 days," said AML owner Tracy Myers.
"The match footage clearly showed that George South Jr. hit Zane Dawson with a roll of nickles and without the referees knowledge," Myers continued. "The blow knocked Dawson to the ground long enough for Caprice Coleman to pin him. The pin gave Coleman the win and he become the first AML Wrestling Champion." Shortly after losing the match, Dawson attacked AML Wrestling Team Member Chris Lea. This was the second time that Dawson had attacked Lea. Dawson was also suspended for 45 days and fined $500.
South Jr. was contacted for a statement but didn’t respond.
