Event Synopsis:

Minimizing and mitigating anti-trust risk in mergers and acquisitions transactions is more important than ever. It is as essential for companies to complete due diligence and identify negotiation strategies as it is to address anti-trust issues a priori. Failure to identify and address anti-trust issues can have a number of consequences including, challenges by federal anti-trust agencies, state attorneys general, and other parties; delay closing a deal or preventing it altogether; fines, rescission of a transaction; and other consequences.

Competent anti-trust counsel can help a company understand and comply with the legal requirements and help to minimize risks of failure, interruption, accusation, and litigation.

The Knowledge Group is producing a LIVE Webcast entitled Mitigating Anti-trust Risks in Mergers and Acquisitions Transactions: What Every Firm Needs to Know in 2015 to help organizations and their legal counsel better manage anti-trust issues in Mergers and Acquisitions.
