Local Credit Union Makes Its Mark

FARGO, N.D. - May 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Fargo, ND - United Savings Credit Union is excited to be open for business in its brand new 6,000 sq ft facility in downtown Fargo. A ribbon cutting with the Fargo-Moorhead West Fargo Chamber will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, June 4 to celebrate the Grand Opening.

“Our new location was built with a few important goals in mind,” said Nicholaus Woodard, President/CEO. “The first was to create a space that would allow us to continue to grow and take even better care of our members.  In addition, we want to shift the perception of credit unions in the eyes of the community.   Membership in credit unions is much more flexible and we want the local community to know they are welcome to join our credit union and enjoy the fantastic service and benefits that our over 4,500 existing members have come to love.”

The 1001 1^st Avenue North Fargo branch is home to 5 offices, an online banking station, 24 hour ATM and two drive-thru lanes.

Jan Welch, VP/branch manager of the new location says, “There’s a sense of community, a sense of belonging when you’re a Credit Union member. This facility belongs to our membership and will allow us to better serve their needs.” Welch, a 22 year employee of United Savings believes the time is right for a new location. “More people are beginning to realize what our loyal members have known all along, that we genuinely care about our members and are thrilled when we can help them realize their dreams.”
