City View Pharmacy's Community Wellness Program™ presents Free Summer Yoga in Astoria Park

ASTORIA, N.Y. - May 27, 2015 - PRLog -- City View Pharmacy's Community Wellness Program™ will once again present free Summer Yoga in Astoria Park for the community, Wednesdays at 7pm, from June 3, 2015 through August 26, 2015.

Angie Xidias, General Manager of City View Pharmacy, said, "We are excited to begin our 4th year of free Summer Yoga in Astoria Park. At City View Pharmacy, we strongly believe in giving back to the community, and our yoga classes are one way to accomplish this. Practicing yoga has been shown to offer many great benefits for the body and mind, and our classes are open to beginners, so we invite everyone to try it. And it's a great way to enjoy being outside in the fresh air."

City View Pharmacy's free Summer Yoga in Astoria Park will meet Wednesdays at 7pm at Astoria Park in Astoria, NY. (Enter at the parking lot and proceed toward the river. The group meets in the grassy area to the right of the path.)

Yoga instruction will be provided once again by Yoga Agora of Astoria. Beginners are welcome. The class will cancel due to inclement weather. Notifications will be posted on City View Pharmacy's facebook page. Participants should wear comfortable exercise-appropriate clothing and bring a large towel or yoga mat.
