STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - May 26, 2015 - PRLog -- -         Ask the company, the provider of the amusement inflatables, if they are following the manufacturer recommendations when inflating and operating the inflatable. Knowing the amount of weight required to tether the attraction can help avoid unsafe situations like the ride shifting or even moving while being used.

-         Inquire if the individuals setting up the amusement attraction have been trained by the company. What type of training did they receive?

-         When using these inflatables for entertainment at events and parties, don’t inflate or deflate them yourself. If you rent them have the company set them up and take them down for you, plus have them staff the attraction for you. They possess the knowledge about the attraction and will be dedicated to the safety and operation of it at your event. It will be one less thing to worry about.

-         Check your homeowner insurance policy to ensure you are covered to use these attractions at events.

-         Ask the company you are hiring if they will advise you when to cancel the attraction because of high winds. It is generally recommended that inflatables don’t operate in winds over 15 mph.
