Lost Baseball History Rediscovered: CASEY STENGEL's Unheard Speech at 1952 New York Yankees Dinner

A private recording, intended only for persons very close to the Yankees organization, never commercially released and probably not heard in public since its creation 63 years ago!

GLENDALE, Calif. - May 26, 2015 - PRLog -- We are pleased to offer what we feel is a true National Treasure: Charles "Casey" Stengel: New York Yankees Manager 1949-1960, 8-time World Champion, Member Baseball Hall Of Fame, Major League Baseball All-Time Team...His Full Speech, delivered at a 1952 New York Yankees Private Dinner.

WHAT AN AMAZING, IMPOSSIBLY RARE PIECE OF BASEBALL HISTORY!! The "Greatest Manager Of All Time" entertaining, enlightening and encouraging a group of players...complete with all the lovable humor, unbridled enthusiasm and rapid-fire genius the World has come to expect from "The Old Perfessor"!

More than any other Stengel item we have encountered, this speech gives us a real insight into his intelligence and wit as an orator, the depth of his baseball knowledge and his dedication to the game and to his players.

NOTE TO MEDIA & ENTERTAINMENT PROFESSIONALS: The sound quality of these recordings is most assuredly of a caliber that would translate to their being used as the centerpiece of a documentary or some other form of special programming. Our video was done on a portable turntable with a high-quality needle but with smaller speakers...so when these are played on a high-end audio system the sound quality would be better than what you see here.

ONLY KNOWN COPY: From everything we have been able to ascertain, we believe this to be an only copy, quite probably never before heard in public. We have conducted extensive searches of major search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo, AOL and others)...as well as The Smithsonian, The US Copyright Office, The New York Public Library and The National Archives...all of which turned up no mention or trace of this recording in any known archive nor out in the marketplace.

It is our belief the records have been in the same home since new, stored securely away. When discovered they looked quite untouched.
