The neighborhood open house allowedinvited visitors, young and old alike, to learn about the mine life cycle and biosolids recycling through practical and interactive presentations. As folks visited the exhibition's two learning pavilions, participants were able to discover the Earth Sciences, the different facets of mining activity, the products created through mining and the different steps throughout mining process which includes successful mine reclamation using biosolids. Biosolids build soil quality after mining in order to promote strong vegetative growth which provides quick restoration of soil on mine sites.
