Politically Themed Street Game around Westminster

May 22, 2015 - PRLog -- This Politically-themed Street Game around Westminster is part of the nation's celebrations for the 800 anniversary of Magna Carta and the 750 anniversary of the Simon de Montfort Parliament. Organised by Treasure Hunts in London, this outdoor scavenger hunt involves costumed actors.

This heritage themed treasure hunt starts with the medieval-costumed Maggie Carta welcoming players and distributing clue packs. Then the teams set off to explore political history around Westminster. Along the way, they discover commemorations to world leaders, politicians and campaigners as they unravel cryptic clues and photograph fun assignments.

There are additional tasks and bonus prizes throughout the game. Players also get to meet fictional Political Candidates so independent they don't appear on any ballot paper.

The hunt ends in a pub with prizes awarded to the winning team and a short presentation about Magna Carta.

All players will be given a drink to toast the 750 anniversary of the Simon De Montfort Parliament and the 800 anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta.

LiberTeas has been developed by the Houses of Parliament as part of the 2015 ‘Parliament in the Making’ historic anniversaries programme in partnership with the National Trust. This treasure hunt is being run by Treasure Hunts in London on a non-profit basis. Ticket price includes interaction with costumed actors, prizes for the winning team and end refreshments to toast the 750 anniversary of the Simon de Montfort Parliament and the 800 anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta.

Teams comprise 2 to 5 players.

Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian - please note the hunt ends at a pub.

Tickets for this event cost £15 for individuals, £60 for a team of up to 5 players.
