May 21, 2015 - PRLog -- On Thursday, May 14th, 2015 The Discrimination Free Zone received a Community Connections Grantand award from Wells Fargo. The certificate of award and generous grant were graciously accepted by Tali Raphaely, Founder of the Discrimination Free Zone Foundation, during the Community Connections Breakfast held at the Hilton - Palm Beach Airport.

The Community Connections Grant supports non-profit organizations in communities where Wells Fargo is located. The award is a part of the corporation’s locally based Community Investment program.
“This is extremely exciting for us,” said Raphaely. “It is such an honor to receive recognition and support from Wells Fargo.  We are less than a year old and have relied on the community and many volunteers to help create Discrimination Free Zones locally and across the country. Standing alongside other community leaders at this Awards Ceremony hosted by Wells Fargo was extremely gratifying.  I’d also like to congratulate the other organizations who were honored and thank them for their ongoing dedication to making our communities stronger and more tolerant.”

Funds will be used to continue the work of creating Discrimination Free Zones locally, with emphasis on providing more programs in schools, pre-schools and child care centers, and out of school time programs such as camps and after-care.
