Lesbian Comics Address Gay Marriage Vote with Comedy Show in a “Straight” Church

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - May 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Lesbian comics Vickie Shaw and Jennie McNulty are bringing their unique brand of clean and pointed, “straight friendly” comedy to the Peace United Church of Christ, an “open and affirming” church in Santa Cruz.  As the SCOTUS decides on the rights of gays everywhere to marry, Vickie and Jennie illuminate the humor in these politics (and everyday life) for gays, straights and everyone in between.  Laughter is often the best way to deliver a message, be it triumph or perseverance. Vickie, a recovering S.O.B. (SOuthern Baptist) and Jennie, whose comedy has taken her to Iraq and Afghanistan to entertain the troops, will tackle the issue, whatever the outcome, to help people move forward together.

Vickie Shaw, an out lesbian mother is famous for her hilarious portrayals of her 3 grown children, 3 “perfect” granddaughters and her partner, the infamous, “Sgt. Patch.”  In addition Vickie has:
