Heights Center and Goodwill Job-Link to Host Job Fair May 18

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida and the Heights Foundation are partnering for a local job fair on Monday, May 18. Participating employers include Goodwill, Cypress Cove, Shell Point Retirement Community and more.
 
FORT MYERS, Fla. - May 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Several Southwest Florida employers will seek new employees Monday, May 18th,at the Goodwill Job-Link inside the Heights Center in Fort Myers. The job fair will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m.  The Heights Center is located at 15570 Hagie Dr.

Employers seeking to fill vacancies include Shell Point Retirement Community, Tanger Outlets, Kelly Brothers, Cypress Cove, and Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, among others.

“Goodwill Job-Link centers are an excellent community resource for new hires,” says Job-Link Coordinator Audrey Mayrent “Goodwill has been providing employment services here in Southwest Florida for nearly half a century.  Our clients are looking for employment and have a variety of skills.”

Job-Link Centers (http://www.goodwillswfl.org/joblink) provide employment services, skills training, and family strengthening resources. In addition to Goodwill’s employment-related guidance, the nonprofit partners with other agencies to provide services, such as money management, foreclosure assistance, income tax preparation, and English as a second language courses.

Applicants should be prepared to fill out an application and may be asked to interview on site.  If applicable, job-seekers should bring a resume or references.
