June 2015 Events at Six Bends™

FORT MYERS, Fla. - May 13, 2015 - PRLog -- The Summerland Tour, a family movie night and Southwest Florida BBQ are coming to Six Bends during the month of June. These events are all open to the public.

On June 7, Sundays at the Pit will be held at Six Bends from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with live music by Kate Keys, a 17-year-old vocalist from Englewood. Keys has more than 600 hours of live performances under her belt, covering a variety of songs, from blues and rock, to ballads, oldies and edgy pop.

On June 11, Six Bends will present Summerland at Top Rocker Field with musical performances by Everclear, the Toadies, Fuel and American HiFi.  Summerland is an annual alternative rock concert tour formed by Art Alexakis of Everclear to feature prominent bands from the 90s. In its debut year, the tour was named as one of the “10 Hottest Summer Package Tours” by Rolling Stone magazine. Tickets for Summerland can be purchased at sixbends.com/event/summerland-tour-2015/. Gates will open at 6 p.m. and the music will begin at 7 p.m. The concert will go on rain or shine and guests are asked to refrain from bringing food or drink, coolers, chairs or umbrellas to the event. On June 12, attend movie night at Six Bends Harley-Davidson. This fun family evening will feature the movie “Wild Hogs,” a film the whole family is sure to enjoy. The movie will begin at approximately 8:00 p.m. This event is free to the public.

On June 13, Six Bends will host their Inaugural Beat the Heat event from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. featuring a variety of BBQ vendors, live music, cool zones and bikes for the perfect combination to kick off to summer.

On June 14, Remedy Duo will take the stage for the weekly Sundays at the Pit performance from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.On June 21, Sundays at the Pit will feature music by Scotty G., a Southwest Florida party band playing danceable rock, funk and R&B from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. On June 28, Cadillac Blue returns for a Sundays at the Pit performance from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
