Small Business Growth Conference Coming

MIDDLEBURY, Ind. - May 13, 2015 - PRLog -- There is a Small Business Growth Conference coming to the Region October 2 and 3. With approximately 300,000 small businesses (according to the SBA) in Michigan and Indiana combined, it is clear that the road to recovery is firmly in  the hands of these mom and pop operations. The Dream Big Retreat, hosted by Business Success Unlimited, works with these companies by creating programs where the owners and managers spend time away from the office working ON    their organizations, in order to grow successfully.

The 6th Annual Dream Big Retreat is unique in that it brings together speakers who have "been there, done that". They know what they're talking about because they've experienced the ups an downs of business ownership themselves. The speakers are matched with the business owners that are looking for  the types of things that the individual speakers are expert at.  This two day program will have intensive workshops on Friday and then on Saturday will focus on each individual business creating their own strategies, documents, and programs geared to help them each take home a personal plan for success. With only 100 people invited, this guarantees an intimate weekend where everyone gets time focusing on their OWN projects.

Yet, at the same time, BSU believes that the best work is done when a person is relaxed and able to think out of the box, without all the noise of phones, Internet, and interruptions. There will be plenty of peace, quiet and most importantly, FUN during these two days -- incorporating networking and socializing in the mix.

Speakers are both from the local area and from around the country.

·         Kim Bontrager of Locey Acounting in Sturgis will be sharing her expertise on the use of tools to keep your office running efficiently.

·         Jason Rosado (Achieve Your Ideal Business Now),  of Chicago, will talk about time management and how to keep  your business humming.

·         Mary Lu Saylor (Grow Great Companies) of Virginia, an Emmy award winning journalist will give us tips on how to become the go-to person for the media.

·         Rivka Kawano, of Grand Rapids, a internationally  known social media expert will provide us with ways to get our businesses out there on social media.

·         Robert Mannino, (Numax Media), of New York, will be talking on marketing and branding for your business and yourself.

·         Karen Bachert (Voice of Your Business/Your Business Needs Fans) from Indianapolis will lead us in a segment called Lessons Learned, Trudy Menke from New Carlyle, IN will close up the weekend with wonderful thoughts straight from the learnings of John Maxwell.

·         Deb Sanderson, (Treadstone, LLC and Nerium) from South Bend  tells us her story of "From Rags to Rubber to Riches.”

·         Trudy Menke (John Maxwell), of New Carlylse, IN will be tying it all together on the final day with an action plan. We will build their commitment to their new ideas and plans so they move toward action and results.

·         There will also be a local business providing us with details on how to keep an employee engaged in their work, wanting to come to work and being proud of their productivity.

The location for the event will be at Essenhaus Conference Center in MIddlebury, IN -- in the heart of Indiana Amish country, and known for its wonderful food, beautiful crafts, and interesting scenery.
