ALSA and GOAL SYSTEMS, the perfect duo to "move" Malta

MALTA, Malta - May 13, 2015 - PRLog -- The Maltese government has granted Alsa group -through its subsidiary Autobuses de León- the complete management of the urban and interurban transport of its islands, for which the company will use the experience and the knowledge of Goal Systems in terms of planning and optimization.

Since the beginning of 2015, Alsa has chosen Goal Systems to implement its tools GoalBus® and GoalDriver® to manage the planning of the whole urban service: 335 buses and more than 100 lines covering the transportation of the whole country for the next five years.

From the management of the bus services and the scheduled timetables to the assignation of drivers and the distribution of shifts, the Spanish company, a pioneer and leader in optimization, will help Alsa in the planning of the current network as well as in the future reorganization of the necessary buses and services to give the best service in the islands at the lowest cost.
