Levity Live Brings World-Class Comedy Club to Oxnard

OXNARD, Calif. - May 12, 2015 - PRLog -- The Collection at RiverPark announced today that it has signed a lease with Levity Live, the live comedy club and dinner theater owned and operated by Levity Entertainment Group (LEG). The laugh-out-loud entertainment experience will open in late 2015 and become a premiere destination for comedy in Ventura County.

The dinner theater will bring in a well-known lineup of comedians from across the country. Headliners for Levity Live have included new ‘Daily Show’ host Trevor Noah, Jon Lovitz, Tracy Morgan and Margaret Cho. While enjoying live performances, guests can dine on a variety of appetizers, entrees and specialty cocktails in the showroom.

“The Collection has really become the hub for shopping, dinning and entertainment experiences in Ventura County, and we’re thrilled to be adding a comedy club to our roster,” said Michael Pynn, General Manager at the center. “Whether it’s a date night or an outing with friends, Levity Live will offer something new and exciting for our guests.”

Levity Live will take over the space previously occupied by Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill.

The Collection has 46 retailers now open, recently celebrating grand openings for Maria’s Italian Kitchen, Larsen’s Grill, Ben & Jerry’s, and Francesca’s. The Container Store, LOFT, IT’SUGAR, Sabra Fish Grill, GAP, ANGL, and Finish Line are slated to open throughout 2015.
