SCS Engineers Welcomes Sheila Baber, P.G., to the Oklahoma City Office

OKLAHOMA CITY - May 12, 2015 - PRLog -- SCS Aquaterra, a division of SCS Engineers environmental consulting firm, is pleased to welcome Sheila Baber as its newest Project Director. Ms. Baber brings more than 30 years of combined professional experience in environmental consulting and petroleum geology. She is licensed as a Professional Geologist in Texas and Tennessee, and is licensed by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission as a Remediation Consultant. Prior to joining SCS, Ms. Baber served as Vice President and Manager at StanTech.

Her professional experience includes oversight and management of state and federal regulatory compliance, including site assessments, subsurface investigations, permitting, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) corrective action, site remediation, EPA─contracted underground injection control program management, plus health and safety management.

Ms. Baber’s environmental solutions are focused on the upstream through downstream petroleum industry, including pre-acquisition and compliance projects. Her compliance auditing activities include assessment of federal and state regulatory requirements regulated by RCRA, the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA), the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), and the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). She has also served as Project Manager for Phase I and Phase II property assessments, including sites operating bulk fuel storage facilities.
