Texas State Successfully Releases Campaign Finance Web Application

AUSTIN, Texas - May 12, 2015 - PRLog -- The Texas Ethics Commission launched a new enterprise campaign finance software application. The state-wide filer’s application will support all candidates, officeholders and political committees who are currently required to file electronically with the State of Texas. RFD’s Chief Operations Officer Scott Glover is upbeat about the deployment and outcome stating, “We are proud to partner with TEC and consider it a privilege to support their mission.  The partnership approach between agencies like TEC and RFD’s delivery team is the cornerstone of how we do business.”

With the Texas Ethics Commission design input, RFD has developed an intuitive, web-based and mobile friendly application to support both public state-wide and local filers and internal TEC users.  The predominant technologies leveraged include: Java, Spring, JQuery, HTML5 and JSF.  "By utilizing JQuery and HTML5, RFD fulfilled TEC’s mandate for a responsive web design”, said Anne Davison RFD’s President and Founder who went on to also say “TEC filers will now be able to view, edit and file the required reports on nearly any device with connectivity.”
